What was the highlight of The Thingaha Nay Pyi Taw
The Thingaha
Everything was amazing. There were not that many guests which made it a great place to relax. And the service was above and beyond. The food was good, but they don't have a lot of vegetarian options. The pool is so big and next to a lake which I really liked.
They say they don't wash hanging towels because they care about wasting water, but they wash your towel anyway.

My favourite hotel in Nay Pyi Taw!
The outside dining room is lovely, especially this time of year. Nice grounds for walking and cycling around. Very convenient location near to shops and restaurants. Nice swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

A pleasant oasis in the capital city
It is a large complex with a series of separate blocks, nice gardens between units. The selection at breakfast was good, however no eggs to go with bacon.
The two single bed bases below the mattress were considerably larger than the mattress. Getting out of bed meant you had to step over the overhang.

What was the highlight of The Thingaha Nay Pyi Taw
A nice place to stay, but for a hundred dollars a night there are other hotels which I prefer.
As a long-stay working resident, living in another NPT hotel, I wish I could magically transplant all of the thoughtfully-provided details of my Thingaha room to the place where I actually stay. Very comfortable accommodation. The restaurant was pleasant, with an extensive menu and wine list (provided by Cellar Door, a Yangon favourite of mine). Breakfast was ok, but not really out of the ordinary. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient.
- Staff had no record of my booking, and so I was charged a higher price than that advertised on booking.com. - The staff member who showed me to my room made absolutely no effort to show me the room's facilities, or where the hotel's pool/spa/restaurant were located (and NPT's hotels tend to be set on vast tracts of land, with buildings far apart), but simply hung around, apparently waiting for a tip.
